Being Passionate and Enjoying Work<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n What does “WORK GOOD” mean to you?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\nAlways having positive curiosity, being passionate, and enjoying my work. Architecture is a job that involves a diverse team, so my WORK GOOD is to develop a project while valuing human connection and sharing mutual inspiration with various experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What do you keep in mind everyday to realize your \u201cWORK GOOD\u201d?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\nCycling in the morning, having a change of scenery when I feel stuck, making sure that family time is 100% for family and work time is 100% for work, making time to think in the morning when I\u2019m clear-headed, letting each member of my team showcase their strengths, creating an environment where everyone can approach work with excitement, and sleeping well to feel refreshed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What do you feel your purpose is in work?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\nI feel that my work has purpose when I can work with passion, in a field that I\u2019m interested in and good at, and where I can contribute to society. When I can share these values and goals with my team, including the client, and achieve results through trial and error, I realize how wonderful my job is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Has over 20 years of experience in designing office, residential, educational facilities, public facilities, and master planning projects in the UK, US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. She led the design for the construction of “The Edge”, a smart building situated in the headquarters of Deloitte in Amsterdam. She is also a founding member of PLP\/LAB, a research institute of PLP Architecture and innovation consulting from the urban, human, and digital perspectives. She also leads the project in Tokyo together with Nakajima Raita, the representative of PLP Tokyo.
