My Reason to Work Is the Same as My Reason to Live<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n What does “WORK GOOD” mean to you?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\nGetting to do rewarding work to the best of my ability. Getting to work with the best team. A balance among challenges, difficulties, and learning through trial and error, and being able to contribute with confidence, with things that only I can do. Having teammates that I respect and that respect me, and the feeling of trusting each other\u2019s work. An environment where my opinion is valued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What do you keep in mind everyday to realize your \u201cWORK GOOD\u201d?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\nI value being in a position to create an environment, something that would not be possible alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every day, I develop products that I\u2019m proud of, working with the best people and living my best life. Thanks to the products we develop, I\u2019ve moved to nature-rich Hayama and I live within a ten-minute walk from my workplace and my child\u2019s school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because I\u2019ve created the products and company myself, my own daily activities have a big impact. My commitment is different. I have pursued and realized \u201cmy own unique style of work\u201d in a way that would have been unimaginable at a major company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What do you feel your purpose is in work?<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\nMy \u201creason to work\u201d is the same as my \u201creason to live.\u201d I have the crucial role of listening closely to the joys and difficulties of customers using \u201ctonari\u201d and, together with my colleagues, to think about tips and improvements that could make their use more effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While building a ten-year career broking Japanese equities at a global securities firm, she has also worked independently as an organizer of technology events. In 2014, she organized the Startup the Party conference, connecting entrepreneurs in San Francisco and Tokyo through technology, music, and art. Having left Tokyo, she is searching for new communities to launch and a new lifestyle in an environment rich with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n
